Strengthen Your Mind, Body & Spirit

Body movement and exercise are widely understood as a highly beneficial parts of daily life. There are so many pros and very little cons. Movement helps us think better, feel better and sleep better. It lowers our risk of disease and increases our mental, emotional and physical strength. It decreases pain and increases bone, lung and heart health. It helps to regulate mood and manage stress. It boosts our metabolism and improves our cognitive functioning. It builds a strong mind/body connection and supports an overall happy and healthy lifestyle. Sounds pretty appealing, right?!

Physical movement is one of the most reliable ways to move energy in our body. We need energy, or lifeforce, to flow with ease in order to feel our best. However, this is not always accessible by our own doing. You may not have the adequate space needed (physically or in your schedule) for regular exercise. Or you may have uncertainty over what movement style or pace is for you. Or you may feel intimidation or lack of enjoyment or fulfillment at the gym or in a group class. The good news is these are manageable! Everyone deserves to build confidence and empowerment through body movement. For many, doing so alone is out of reach. If you do not have the proper space, information, motivation, accountability or coaching to ensure it happens in a way that’s enjoyable and in alignment for you, you'll burn out or give up too quickly! My goal is to play the long game when supporting your body and your movement.

Movement sessions provide you with the space, resources, teaching, coaching and conditioning to propel you towards your goals, so you're able to sustain and actually enjoy activity! Whether you're completely new to exercise, or experienced but looking for 1:1 support, you will benefit from movement sessions. Whether you dislike the gym, or are in recovery from a nagging injury and seek future prevention, you will benefit. Whether you can't seem to make it to group classes, or can’t find the energy or space to workout or practice yoga on your own, you will benefit. Movement sessions are tailored to match your intentions, needs and goals, both long term and on a day-to-day basis. As a coach and teacher, I lovingly push you along the way as you progress on your unique fitness and Mind/Body/Spirit health journey.

Sessions incorporate a variety of physical movements, equipment, styles and approaches. From yoga to weight lifting, mobilizing to stabilizing, strength work to endurance work, sessions always include mindful and functional movement. The programming I design for you understands where you've been, meets you where you are, and encourages where you're going. Sessions are supported by core-awareness, breathwork, focus and intention to bring you back into your presence, strength, balance and ease. Sessions are offered in person in a private setting in Lafayette, CO. Local travel to you can be arranged at an additional cost. Virtual sessions are an option if you live at a distance and have access to the basic necessary equipment. Sessions match your lifestyle and complement any additional healing/wellness modality!

Are you looking for a practice that connects the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual layers of self together, all in one, for optimal energetic health and flow? Then Private Yoga/Meditation sessions are for you! In Yoga, there is a focus on deepening your relationship to your breath, on (or off) your mat, as you flow through or hold postures. This brings the light of awareness to each moment of practice. Yoga is an optimal body weight movement modality for those looking to increase mobility, build basic strength, improve range of motion, enhance flexibility and promote body awareness. Yoga is known as being one of the most “relaxed” ways to strengthen and connect to Mind, Body & Spirit, as it also promotes calmness and inner peace.  A variety of yoga styles, such as vinyasa, flow, yin, restorative, nidra and meditation, may be included. Sessions are suitable for anyone who would benefit from 1:1 personalized teaching and practice in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

 Are you looking to become stronger, leaner and fitter? Then Personal Fitness Training is for you! Sessions are ideal for those looking to supercharge their fitness, increase muscular strength and improve cardiovascular endurance through individual programming. Training sessions work with your individual goals, so your workouts have the perfect level of challenge, mindfulness and attention to form. Fitness can sometimes be clouded by a non-supportive or intimidating environment, or exercises/pacing that try to push you past accessible limits, aggravating or causing unnecessary injuries or fatigue. Personal fitness training empowers and energizes your Mind and Body through compassionate coaching, compound movements and accessible, moderate intensity conditioning. The goal is for these sessions to help fitness be a rewarding and enjoyable piece of your life! Sessions are suitable for anyone who would benefit from 1:1 fitness coaching and personalized programming in a welcoming and friendly environment.
